OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
4.  Operating with the Screwgun
NOTICE: We recommend using a standard, long 
bit (approximately 150mm length x 5mm shank 
diameter) when operating the screwgun with the 
collated attachment.
Install the screwgun bit:
a.  Remove the battery from tool.
b.  Pull the stop sleeve to remove it from the tool.
c.  With one hand, push the bit sleeve back and 
hold it in place.
d.  With the other hand, insert the long screwgun 
bit (J) into the hexagonal hole in the bit 
retainer.
e.  Release the bit sleeve and check that it returns 
to its original position. 
Install the collated attachment to the screwgun 
a.  Align the bit with the hole on the collated 
attachment. 
b.  Push the collated attachment until it snaps into 
place.
NOTE: The bit is magnetized and will hold most 
commercial drywall screws.
Operating the screwgun with the collated 
attachment
a.  Install the screw strip.
b.  Adjust the depth stop (A), set the screw length, 
and adjust the screw-in depth.
c.  Set direction of rotation (clockwise) on the 
screwgun.
d.  Grip the tool with both hands on the handle and 
assume a working position.
e.  Place the depth stop against the workpiece to 
be screwed in place. Hold the tool at right angle 
to the workpiece surface.
f.  Turn on the screwgun. The screw is screwed 
into the workpiece until the set screw-in depth 
is reached. The bit will automatically stop 
rotating.
g.  When you have nished driving screws, switch 
off the screwgun.
