Universal use
Over 40 standard crimping dies and locators are intended for use
on the eCrimp. In addition over 1,000 special crimping dies from the
proven Crimp System Pliers (97 43 200) can be used.
Whether plug connectors, end sleeves (ferrules) up to 50 mm² or non-
insulated terminals up to 25 mm² – reliable crimping connections that
are precisely aligned to the respective type of connector are possible
without the use of additional manual force with the KNIPEX eCrimp.
The unique use of locators permits connectors and conductors to be
securely fed into the crimping die. This pays off especially in the case
of serial crimping, e.g. when assembling connectors.
The crimping dies and locators can be switched in a few quick steps.
The relevant tool is placed directly on the eCrimp.
The KNIPEX eCrimp is the first electromechanically actuated model of
crimping pliers in the world. Its universal application range makes it
an essential tool in the workshop and for rough field work.
