two-hand operation for cutting copper and aluminium cables
with diameters of up to 60 mm!
Thick cables are cut everywhere, in wind turbines, transformer stations and
cable trenches etc. Heavy electrically operated systems are often used for
this purpose. With the new sturdy and compact ratchet-action cable cutter,
KNIPEX proves that it is by all means possible to cut thick cables by hand
– even with just one hand if necessary.
With 3-stage drive in one-hand and two-hand operation.
Special feature: This professional-class cutter from KNIPEX is the fi rst
manual ratchet-action cable cutter that cuts through copper and alumini-
um cables with diameters of up to 60 mm. It features “3-stage drive“,
allowing thick cables of up to 60 mm in diameter to be cut through
without any problem – using either one or both hands.
The “1st stage” is ideal for one-hand operation: the blades cut with mini-
mum feed, allowing an easy and comfortable transmission of manual force
to cutting force and a favourable gripping position, even for small hands.
In the 3rd stage the blades cut through the cables with maximum feed.
The ratchet-action cable cutter is distinguished by simple handling, low
weight and a compact design. It is excellent for use in confi ned areas, too.
As a professional tool the ratchet-action cable cutter is suitable for the
demands of day-to-day use. Its serration is insensitive to dirt, it is sturdy
and comfortable to hold and it features good stability and long service life.
