spool, one wrap at a time, until desired tension is obtained.
To avoid damage to the hose reel, always hold on to the cable while it is rewinding.
1. Check the reel for proper operation by slowly pulling out the hose. A clicking noise will be heard
every half revolution of the drum.
2. To latch the reel, pull out the hose then allow it to retract after hearing the first, second, or third
click.
3. To unlatch the reel, slowly pull out the hose until the clicking noise stops then, holding on to the
hose, let it retract in a controlled way until the stop/block rests against the hose guide/rollers.
Maintenance
Maintain the hose reel by adopting a program of conscientious repair and maintenance in accordance
with the following recommended procedures. It is recommended that the general condition of any tool
be examined before it is used. Keep your hose reel in good repair. Keep handles dry, clean, and free
from oil and grease. The following chart is based on a normal operation schedule.

Clean the hose reel with a cloth dipped in warm water to
remove dirt or deposits and ensure correct rewinding. Do not
use detergents or solvents which could damage the cable-
winder materials.

dealer. If the problem continues after troubleshooting, call your local dealer for assistance.

Replace the hose:
1. Disconnect the air source.
2. Pull out all of the old hose and latch the reel in this position. For
added safety, secure the drum in the latched position.
3. Carefully disconnect the hose from the male fitting in the axle’s
center, and remove the old hose.
4. Insert a new hose through the guide roller bracket, and feed
through the opening in the center of the drum hub.
5. Apply thread tape to the fitting in the axle’s center, then screw
the hose onto the fitting and tighten.
6. Install the hose stopper on the other end of the hose.
7. Carefully release the drum latch, and slowly allow the hose to
wind onto the reel.
