Assembly
For your own safety, do not try to plug in the drill press until it is completely assembled and installed
according to the instructions and until you have read and understand this instruction manual.
To avoid injury from unexpected starting, do not plug the power cord into a power source
receptacle during unpacking and assembly. This cord must remain unplugged whenever you are
assembling or adjusting the machine.
If any part is missing or damaged, do not plug the machine in until the missing or damaged part is
replaced, and assembly is complete.
To protect the machine from moisture, a protective coating has been applied to the machined
surfaces. Remove this coating with a soft cloth moistened with kerosene.
1. Carefully unpack the drill press and its loose components and compare them against the following
illustrations to make sure all are present.
2. Assemble the column
a. Place the column assembly (5) on the base (1) and align the holes in column support with
holes in base.
b. Secure the column with four bolts provided (3). (Fig.1)
3. Install table bracket
a. Take off the collar (2) and rack (4).
b. Install table bracket together with rack. (Fig.2)
c. Reinstall the collar and secure it firmly. (Fig.3)
