Assembly Instructions
WARNING
To avoid a dangerous sudden release of pressure that can cause severe injury, ensure that the
pressure source for the reel is turned off and the supply hose is not pressurized.
1. Prior to mounting the hose reel, ensure that the supply line pressure does not exceed the maximum
working pressure of the hose reel.
2. Unpack and inspect the reel for damage. Turn the reel by hand to check for smooth and correct
operation.
3. Place the reel on a completely level floor. It’s ideal if the floor has texture for stability.

4. Apply Teflon tape or pipe sealant to the supply line threads. Then attach the line threads to the reel
inlet and tighten. The other end of the incoming line can now be connected to the desired supply
source.
5. Apply Teflon tape or pipe sealant to the outlet fitting on the reel hose and then attach it to the
desired tool or nozzle. Check the connection for leakage; also check the hose reel for correct
operation.
6. If the hose stopper adjustment is required, pull the hose from the reel and allow it to latch at the
desired length. Loosen the stopper bolts, and slide the stopper to a position close to the hose guide.
Tighten the stopper bolts and unlatch the reel.
Before Each Use
WARNING
Ensure that the reel is properly installed before connecting input and output hoses.
Before connecting a pressure source, ensure that the supply pressure does not exceed maximum
working pressure rating of reel.
Inspect the hose reel fittings, alignment, hoses, and components periodically before use.
