Each
is
a
par
t
of
an
OPE
system
f
or
f
all-
arrest,
positioning,
suspension,
retr
ie
v
al,
or
combination
application.
To

OPE
system,

.
All
personal
OPE
systems
are
made
up
of
three
major
components:
(A)
anchorage
,
(B)
body
wear
(such
as
a
har
ness),
and
(C)
connecting
de
vic
e.
Klein’
s
Wire
Rope
Anchorage
Connector
is
used
to
pro
vide
a
r
ugged
and
v
ersatile
attachment
point
between
the
connecting
de
vice
(the
“C”
component)
and
the
f
all-arrest
anchorage
(“A”
component).
The
Wire
Rope
attaches
around
a
hor
iz
ontal
I-beam
or
similar
str
uctural
member
(the “A”
component).
When
using
an
y
OPE
system,
y
ou
must
be
sure
the
entire
system
meets
OSHA
regulations
.
Be
sure
the
pr
imar
y
anchorage
is
identified
and
ev
aluated
by
a
competent
person,
as
defined
by
OSHA,
at
the
job
site
. A
competent
person
must
also
deter
mine
that
the
type
of
OPE
connecting
de
vice
and
har
ness
are
appropr
iate
f
or
the
job
.
Be
sure
to
read,
understand,
and
f
ollo
w
all
instr
uctions
and
wa
r
nings
attached
to
and/or
pa
ck
ed
with
all
other
tools
,
de
vices
,
and
equipment
y
ou
are
using.
