Self-contained respiratory protection should be provided for fire fighters fighting fires in
buildings or confined areas. Storage containers exposed to fire should be kept cool with
water spray to prevent pressure build-up. Stay away from heads of containers that have
been exposed to intense heat or flame.
RISK OF FIRE FROM SPONTANEOUS COMBUSTION EXISTS WITH THIS
PRODUCT.
Oily rags, waste, and other oily materials can cause spontaneous combustion fires if not
handled properly. Immediately after use, and before disposal or storage, you MUST (1)
Spread out all oily materials outside to dry by flattening them out to their full size in an
airy spot for 24 hours at temperatures above 40 degrees F, or (2) Wash them thoroughly
with water and detergent and rinse. Repeat until you have removed all oil from all
clothes, tools, rags, paper, clothing, mops, and any other materials contacted during use
or as a result of an accidental spill. Make certain all wash and rinse water is disposed of
properly.

Keep unneccessary people away; isolate hazard area and deny entry. Stay upwind, out
of low areas, and ventilate closed spaces before entering. Shut of ignition sources; keep
flares, smoking or flames out of hazard area.
Small Spills: take up liquid with sand, earth or other noncombustible absorbent material
and place in a plastic container where applicable.
Large Spills: dike far ahead of spill for later disposal.

Read carefully all cautions and directions on product label before use. Since empty
container retains residue, follow all label warnings even after container is empty.
Dispose of empty container according to all regulations. Do not reuse this container.
Keep container tightly closed when not in use. Store in a cool, dry place. Do not store
near flames or at elevated temperatures.
