BASIC OPERATION

When your system uses tone signaling (except
CTCSS and DTCS), a call procedure may be
necessary prior to voice transmission� The tone
signaling employed may be a selective calling system,
which enables you to call only specic stations, and
prevents unwanted stations from contacting you�
1� Select a channel according to your system
operator’s instructions.
