1) Remove the spark plug cover by pulling it away from the spark plug. (See Fig. AC)

2) Remove the spark plug from the engine by rotating anti-clockwise with the
soc
ket spanner provided. (See Fig. AD)

) Follow these cleaning instructions: (See Fig. AE)
• Spray the spark plug with a quality carbon cleaner.
• Gently clean using a wire brush.
• Install the new or cleaned spark plug with 0.5~0.7mm electrode gap and
reassemble completely before use.
This engine uses a L6RTC with 0.5-0.7 mm electrode gaps (Or
Champion: RCJ6Y,CJ7Y, RCJ7Y, RCJ8, RCJ8Y or NGK: BM6A,
BMR6A, BPMR6A). Use a suitable replacement and replace once a year.
