3. Check that all fasteners, guards and handles etc are in place and secure.
Tighten as necessary.
4. Check the fuel level. Starting with a full tank will help to eliminate or reduce
operating interruptions for refueling.
MAINTENANCE INSPECTION
1. Check the air filter. A dirty air filter will restrict airow to the carburetor, reducing
engine and cutting performance.
2. Check the throttle cable free play. The cable must be correctly adjusted and
operate smoothly for good throttle control.
3. Look for signs of damage to cutting blade. Replace the blade or if any part is
worn, bent, cracked, chipped, or damaged in any way.
4. Make sure the guards are properly installed and securely fastened.
5. If the guards are damaged in any way replace immediately.
