Capture mode settings
1. To enter the Capture settings menu, press and hold the
MODE button (10) whilst in capture mode.
2. Press the MODE button (10) to enter the menu.
3. The MODE button (10) will scroll through the settings and
the SHUTTER button (1) will select/change them.
In the capture settings menu, you will nd the following options
MENU FUNCTION
Capture Mode Use this function to set the camera to single shot
or timer delay modes. [Single]/[2s timer]/ [5s
timer]/[10s timer]
Resolution Change the image resolution for taking photos.
[12M]/[10M][8M]/[5M]/[3M]/[1.3M]/[VGA]
Quality Select image quality for still photos. There are three
options for choice. [Super Fine]/[Fine]/[Normal]
Sharpness
Set the sharpness of the picture. The sharpness
level dictates if the edges of objects in the image
are more or less distinct. [Sharp]/[Normal]/[Soft]
Exposure Set the exposure value manually to compensate
for unusual lighting conditions. [-3EV to +3EV]
White balance Adjust the white balance to suit different light
sources. [Auto]/[Daylight]/[Cloudy]/[Fluorescent]/
[Incandescent]
Colour Set the colour effect.[Standard]/[Sepia]/
[Monochrome]/[Vivid]
ISO The ISO menu allows you to set the level of
sensitivity. [Auto]/[100]/[200]/[400]
Scene Mode You can select the scene mode according to the
image you wish to capture. [Auto]/[Scenery]/
[Portrait]/[Night Scenery]/[Night Portrait]/[High
Sensitivity]/[Beach]
