connection to a 5V power
supply

LEDs on?

 Power supply is connected and
turned on.
 Power supply wires are
connected the right way
around.
 Resistors R1, R2 and R3 are
inserted correctly.
 Supply links LK1 and LK2 are
inserted correctly.
Are individual
LEDs not
working?
NO

 LEDs are the right way
around, with the missing
corner matching the ‘-‘
mark on the PCB.
CHECK
 Supply links LK1 and LK2
are inserted correctly,
and there are no dry
joints.
 Resistors R1, R2 and R3
are inserted correctly,
and there are no dry
joints.

row of LEDs
not working?
