Foreasier installation, it is
recommended that both the
120-volt supply wiring to be
connected to the hood liner wiring
box and the exterior blower
system be instal[ed first. Pull
enough wiring through the wall to
allow for making the electrical
connections at the hood liner
wiring box. Label which cable is
the 120-volt supply wire and
which is the exterior blower cable.
Cover countertop or cooking
surface with a thick, protective
covering to prevent damaging
them.

(27.9 cm) dia. holeas shown. Use a
compass or template and markthe
outlineofthe 11" (27.9 cm) hole.
= Drill the four holesand, usinga
saber saw or keyhole saw, cut the
11" (27.9 cm) dia. hole.

= Drilla 1-1/4" (3.0 cm) dia. hole
at location shownfor electrical
wiring.
. Removethe electrical
knockoutfromthe hood liner.
= Removethe filters.Use two
handsto removefilter.Pushtab
backto releasethe lockingpin, pull
downand forward. Set filter aside.
Repeat with otherfilter(s).
. Removethe wiring box cover
locatedbehind the right handfilter.
= Install U.L.- orC.S.A.- listed
strain reliefin hood liner sothat
screwscan be tightened,

Disconnect power before
servicing.
Connect ground wire to green
ground screw in terminal box,
Failure to do so can result in
death or electrical shock.
. Disconnect power.
= If not previouslydone, run the
120-volt supply wiringto the hood
lineraccordingto electricalcodes
and ordinances.

screwsfromthe parts bag. It is
recommendedthey be placed by
the holesin the hood linersupport
for quickaccess.

throughthe strain relief,liftthe hood
linerinto place. Insert the screws
throughthe supportand thread into
the hood linerholes.Tightenscrews
SSCUrely.
