IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances especially when children are present, basic safety
precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of re, electric shock, and/or
injury to persons, including the following:
1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS.
2. Do not touch hot surfaces. Metal parts can become hot. Use any handles or knobs.
All chrome surfaces become extremely hot.
3. To protect against electrical shock, do not place cord, plug or appliance in water or
other liquid.
4. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
5. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before
cleaning or removing parts.
6. Do not pull, twist or otherwise abuse cord.
7. Do not operate any electrical appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after
appliance malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Return
appliance to nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or adjustment.
8. Do not let power cord hang over edge of a table or countertop (where it can be
accidentally pulled) or touch any hot surface.
9. Do not use outdoors or for commercial purposes.
10. Never operate any appliance on top of a non-heat-resistant or ammable surface.
11. Never leave appliance unattended when in use.
12. Do not place appliance on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven
or microwave.
13. Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual. Do not use
attachments that are not recommended by the manufacturer; they may cause injury.
14. Never move this appliance while in use or while any vessel containing hot oil or
other hot liquids is on the appliance.
15. Do not use this appliance for other than intended use.
16. To disconnect, turn all controls to the 12 o’clock position, then remove plug from the
wall outlet.
