10APF Refer to your Owners Manual or inspect the fuse block and its cover to identify the Turn Signal fuse. Make sure that the fuse to replace is dedicated to turn signals only. If not, wiring in a separate fuse holder may be necessary.
OPERATION: After you have installed the 10APF FUSE, turn the ignition key on and activate the turn signals. The turn signals should begin flashing and stop after 10 seconds. This is the factory default time-out. You can program different time-out, as shown below.
OVERLOAD DETECTION 10APF fuse circuit monitors the load continually. As soon as the threshold of 10A is reached, it trips. The turn signal bulbs will remain off but the blue STATUS LED will flash rapidly if the turn signals are activated during this ‘Tripped Mode’. Overload detection is instantaneous and accurate to prevent any accidental damage due to a short-circuit from pinched or cut wires. Once tripped, the unit will remain in ‘Tripped Mode’- RESET procedure is shown below.
