2. To insure the first row of wood is straight, place a first board at the top of the wall using a level and mark a reference line
bellow the piece. Then, trace a line with the level from one end of the wall to the other starting from this reference.
3. Cutting line: To cut the first board of each row with your choice of saw, taking care properly of the measure so that they fit
perfectly to the adjacent pieces. Keep the cut portion for later use. ( W3D10S-LT and W3D10S-DK can be installed directly, no
need to cut the first board )
4. Adhesive application: Before applying the glue, inspect each panel. Defective panel with applied end user glue is considered
accepted by the installer and cannot be returned or claimed. Do not crush the glue, apply 1/8” or 3mm thick 100% polyurethane
glue or silicon on the back of the panel in a rectangular shape and 1 inch or 25mm from the edges. Then apply more glue in the
shape of an “X” inside the rectangle.
5. Nailing: Using a pneumatic nailer and 18# nails, nail in the lower right corner (1) to hold your board. Continue nailing by
following the demonstration. Tip: To optimize the restraining force of the nail, nail with a 45°angle. Finalize by nailing the top
row of the panel using 23# nails where indicated by an X in the demonstration.
6. Subsequent installation of panels
- Repeat glue step
- Insert Panel B in panel A.
- Repeat the nailing steps.
7. To finish one row, you need to cut the last board of the row too. Pay attention to the correct measurement and cutting and you
can keep the cut portion as start board of the subsequent row.
Maintenance:
Do not apply water to the surface. Use a hardwood cleaner or a soft and dry brush. If ever one of the blades falls off, you only
have to reposition using the 100% polyurethane glue
Caution:
