Above Ground, Filter Installation - Model 920
Apply pipe thread tape to each
threaded end of nipple.
Screw one end of nipple
into the filter return.
Screw either side of
Perform-Max on to open
nipple end until upright and
secure
.
Tighten turning
1 to 2 revolutions with wrench.
DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN.

Apply pipe thread tape
to threaded end of hose
adapter.
Screw adapter into open end
of Perform-Max.
Attach return section of hose to
the adapter with clamp. Tighten
clamp with screwdriver.

Installing a corrosion resistant
check valve is recommended.
