Return policy
Personalized items are non-returnable unless we have made a
typographical error in the spelling of the requested name or the
component is damaged. A personalized item is considered a
custom order and is non-cancellable and non-refundable.
Lead time
Please allow up to 3 business days for us to process your order.
Cut-off for Christmas delivery is December 12. Personalized items
will be shipped separately from non-personalized items.
What can be personalized?
While our program was designed for a child’s name, you can personalize our items with more than just a name.
You can choose a short message, a type of item (Books, Art Supplies), a family name, a doll’s name, two names
if they are short (Kim & Ava), even a pet’s name! Just count the characters shown for each item and make sure
your submission is within the character limit. Remember apostrophes and spaces count as characters.
Please note we will personalize as specifi ed in the Personalization Option box. That means upper and lower case
where called out or all caps where called out. We cannot personalize profanity.
Foreign characters such as accent marks or umlauts cannot be accommodated at this time. Please only use
characters on standard American keyboards.
Washing instructions
Printed wooden items: Wipe with a damp sponge. If the product becomes very dirty, you can use a mild
dishwashing detergent, furniture polish, Formula 409
®
or Windex
®
. DO NOT USE BLEACH, rubbing alcohol
or any product containing solvent-based chemicals. Do not scrub with an abrasive cleaner like steel wool or
granular cleanser such as Comet
®
.
Embroidered fabric items: Follow the fabric care label on the item. Surface wash only with a mild detergent. Some
baby/toddler items can be machine washed. No bleach, chlorine or peroxide. Our thread is colorfast polyester.
CONDITIONS: SPECIFICATIONS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE.
WARRANTY: ALL KIDKRAFT MERCHANDISE HAS A 90 DAY REPLACEMENT
WARRANTY AGAINST DEFECTS IN MATERIALS.

Frequently Asked Questions
I already own a KidKraft item that is in the personalization program.
Can I just order a personalized panel for my existing, assembled item?
Unfortunately, no. Personalization is only available with the purchase of a new product from a dealer offering
Personalization by KidKraft. KidKraft products that you already own cannot be retrofi tted with personalized
components. Sorry, we aren’t offering this service as a do-it-yourself kit.
How is the name applied to the item?
One of two ways: our fabric items are embroidered with polyester thread while our wooden items are
professionally printed with CPSIA-compliant ink. We do not use paint markers or hand paint the name. We are
not engraving the names. These are not peel-up stickers. Once applied, the ink does not peel or chip.
I see you offer graphic art images on some items. I don’t like any of those choices.
Can I get the item with just a name?
Yes, go ahead and select your font and color and select the option “none” under Graphic Art.
What if I want to order more than one item personalized?
Our dealer website will prompt you after you click the “personalization” button. You may order multiple personalized
items on one order but please do not mix personalized and non-personalized items on the same order.
