Carefully place the red b a t t e ry warning flags into the battery well. Observe the battery polarity markings at the bottom of the battery well. After approximately 30 seconds, your CO alarm will begin monitoring for CO. When choosing your installation locations, make sure you can hear the alarm from all sleeping areas.

The following common symptoms are related to carbon monoxide poisoning and should be discussed with ALL members of the household. Learn the difference between mild, medium and extreme levels.

This Kidde unit has a time-weighted a l a rm- the higher the level of carbon monoxide present, the sooner the alarm will be triggered. This CO alarm can only warn you of the presence of CO.
