Insert the Steering Rod
It’s easiest to accomplish this step with
the Ram slightly pped to it’s side. Have a
second person hold the Ram while inserng
the steering rod.
Tip!
1. Remove the screw and nut from the
steering wheel, and keep it close by, you will
need to hold the steering rod
in place.
2. Insert the long end of the steering rod through
the steering rod hole on the at axle rod
through the hole on the underside of the truck
body.
3. The short, curved end of the steering rod
should insert through the round rod on the
front axle.
4. While holding the steering column in place,
carefully turn the truck back to the standing
posion.
5. Insert the screw you set aside in step 1
through the end of the steering rod to hold it
in place.
Aach the Steering Wheel
6. Aach the wire connectors coming from the
steering wheel hole to the wire connector
coming from the boom of the steering
wheel.
7. Hold the steering rod, and remove the screw
from the end of the steering rod.
8. Align the holes at the end of the steering rod
with the holes in the steering wheel.
9. Insert the screw through the holes.
10. Fasten the steering wheel to the steering rod
by placing the nut on the end of the screw,
and ghten.
Use the steering wheel screw to
hold the steering column in place
while connecng the wires.
