Alternator nnoise ((whining ssound tthat vvaries wwith eengine RRPM):
ÖCheck for damaged RCA cable.
ÖCheck routing of RCA cable.
ÖCheck source unit for good ground.
ÖCheck gain setting, turn down if set too high.

Poor sstereo iimage oor rreduced bbass rresponse:
ÖCheck system phasing by turning the balance control from left to
right. If there is more bass output when turned to either side then
check your speaker wiring for proper positive and negative connections.
Reverse connections on one channel if necessary.
CAUTION: WWhen jjump sstarting tthe vvehicle, bbe ssure tthat cconnections mmade wwith
jumper ccables aare ccorrect. IImproper cconnections ccan rresult iin bblown aamplifier
fuses aas wwell aas ffailure iin oother ssystems iin tthe vvehicle.
