Crimp and solder RCA connectors to the end of the speaker wire running from the high-level speaker outputs on the source unit and connect the wire to the RCA Inputs on the end panel of the amplifier or simplify the installation by using a KICKER ZISL as shown below. Keep the audio signal cable away from factory wiring harnesses and other power wiring. If you need to cross this wiring, cross it at a 90 degree angle.

Using either the DC Offset or Audio mode causes the REM terminal to have +12V out for turning on additional amplifiers.
TROUBLESHOOTING If your amplifier does not appear to be working, check the obvious things first such as blown fuses, poor or incorrect wiring connections, incorrect setting of crossover switch and gain controls, etc. There is an illuminated aqua badge on top of the amplifier denoting the power state of the amp in addition to the Protection LED on the end panel of your KICKER ZXM series amplifier. When the aqua badge is lit, this indicates the amplifier is turned on and the amplifier is functioning properly.
CAUTION: When jump starting the vehicle, be sure that connections made with jumper cables are correct. Improper connections can result in blown amplifier fuses as well as the failure of other critical systems in the vehicle. EN CAS DE DIFFICULTÉ Si votre amplificateur ne marche pas, vérifiez d’abord les possibilités évidentes comme les fusibles sautés, les branchements incorrects ou desserrés, le mauvais réglage des commandes de gain et du commutateur du filtre, etc. En plus de la DEL de protection située sur le panneau d’extrémité de votre amplificateur KICKER série ZXM, un témoin bleu-vert éclairé sur le dessus de l’amplificateur indique la mise sous tension de l’amplificateur.
Remarque : La résistance c.c. des haut-parleurs modernes à hautes performances est inférieure à ce qui existait auparavant. Les haut-parleurs coaxiaux et des composants KICKER ont une résistance de 4 ohms (certaines résistances c.c. peuvent être aussi basses que 3 ohms) et peuvent fonctionner sur tout amplificateur conçu pour une charge de 4 ohms. Vous pouvez utiliser deux haut-parleurs coaxiaux ou de composants KICKER sur un seul canal de l’amplificateur en les raccordant en série.
