Subscribed Channel Broadcast channel that is subscribed to by the user
Unsubscribed Channel Broadcast channel that is not subscribed to by the user
Invalid Channel Non-broadcast channel within SIRIUS channel map, or channel outside
of SIRIUS channel map
GCI Global Control Information
PDT Program Descriptive Text / Program Display Text
PSV Program Subscription Vector
PSN Physical Serial Number
SIRIUS ID SIRIUS-assigned electronic identification number of receiver unit
Cluster A group of typically 20 (37 maximum) audio and data channels
multiplexed into the SIRIUS transmission; there are five clusters in the
~7Mbps data stream, totaling approximately 100 (185 maximum)
channels.
Logical Channel Number A number by which the listener can identify a channel for tuning
purposes; the same number is used for control and display, in interaction
with the Agere chipset, in SIRIUS advertising of channels, and in all
human interactions with channels; this channel number is independent of
the TDM slot occupied by the audio content
