8 Accessory Items
8.1 Mounting Brackets
Mounting brackets for installing the tuner in a 19 inch racks will be provided by Audiovox as an after
market accessory.
8.2 Antenna (not included)
The antenna system will be supplied by Terk Technologies to retailers and distributors to support
Audiovox home receiver business. The antenna shall consist of a Sirius approved module in a
weather resistant cabinet (radome) with a 50 ohm cable and SMB push-on connector to connect to
the home tuner.
8.2.1 Antenna Cables (not included)
8.2.1.1 Standard Cable (not included)
The cable standard is 30 feet, RG58U, 50 ohms, terminated with male a SMB connector to attach to
the antenna module and a male SMB connector to attach to the RF input on the tuner. This length of
cable will be included in the home antenna kit.
8.2.1.2 Extension Cable (not included)
Extension cables will be available to accommodate longer installation requirements.
