The highlight bar shall default to the current setting. By pressing the select button (to modify the
setting) or pressing the MENU button (no change in setting) shall return to the Clock submenu.
Daylight Savings Time Observance – This sets whether or not the user’s current location observes
daylight savings time (not whether DST is in effect – this is transmitted in the Sirius bit-stream.)
Upon entering this mode, pressing a channel Up/Down button will toggle between the following
choices:
• DST Observed (Factory Default)
• DST Not Observed
The highlight bar shall default to the current setting. By pressing the select button (to modify the
setting) or pressing the MENU button (no change in setting) shall return to the Clock submenu.
6.2.8.3 Alarm Clock
When entering this menu option, the user will be able to set the unit to turn on at a selected time.
The last selected stream prior to shutdown will be present when the Alarm feature is activated.
Top line displays the text, “Alarm”. The following adjustments shall be offered:
• Set Alarm
• Alarm Time
The highlight bar defaults to the first (top) in the list. Pressing a channel Up/Down button will toggle
between the choices. Pressing the select button enters the selected submenu. Pressing the MENU
button returns to the Time Features submenu.
Set Alarm - Upon entering this mode, pressing a channel Up/Down button will toggle between the
following:
• Alarm Off (Factory Default)
• Alarm On
The highlight bar shall default to the current setting. By pressing the select button (to modify the
setting) or pressing the MENU button (no change in setting) shall return to the Alarm Clock
submenu.
• When the alarm function is enabled, the clock on the default screen will be inversed, ex.
Negative to positive mode only on the clock section of the default screen.
Alarm Time - Upon entering this mode, the screen shall display the current (last programmed)
setting for the alarm (factory default is 12:00pm). By pressing a channel Up/Down button, the
minutes shall increase (channel Up), or decrease (channel Down) in a circular motion in 1 minute
increments. By pressing the category buttons, the hour shall increase (Up Arrow) or decrease (Down
Arrow) in a circular motion in 1 hour increments. AM or PM will switch automatically when the AM or
PM threshold has been exceeded. By pressing the select button (to modify the setting) or pressing
the MENU button (to cancel) shall return to the Alarm Clock submenu.
