OOPERATING INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE SAFETY FIRST.-PERSONAL-ALARM AT THE KEYCHAIN / ITEM-NUMBER S54026
Thank you for buying the SAFETY FIRST.-Personal-Alarm at the keychain. You have decided for a very high quality Personal-Alarm, which in
case of an attack or robbery activates a high output, piercing alarm that can put the agressor to flight. The SAFETY FIRST.-Personal-Alarm at the
keychain is very simple to use. Please take your time and study the simple instructions as follows:
1. Introduction:
High quality batteries are already installed in your Personal-Alarm, in so far the unit can be used immediately as follows: Simply fix your
Personal-Alarm for example at your bunch of keys. In case of an emergency, pull the keyring in a way, that the small metallpin sticking into the
Personal-Alarm comes out and the very loud, piercing alarm does start immediately. When sticking the pin back into the unit the alarm will stopp.
Please practice a function test of the Personal-Alarm. Before making the test, in any way please protect your ears to avoid damage of the ears.
Over that please cover the siren at the front of the unit. After that activate the alarm by pulling the keyring. As soon as the alarm starts please put
back the metallpin into your Peronal-Alarm for stopping the loud alarm immediately. After you have practiced the function of your new Personal-
Alarm and after you have found out that it does work unobjectionable you can use your new unit at any time.
In case you are using your Personal-Alarm after a long period where you have not used the unit, please first of all practice a function test like it is
described above to ensure that your unit is still working and really can help in case of an emergency.
2. Function LED-Torch:
The LED-Torch, for example convenient to use for locks in the darkness, is simply activated by pressing the button lokated at the lower position
of the front of the Personal-Alarm. The LED is shinning as long as the LED-button is pressed and hold.
3. Replacing the batteries:
In case the alarm sound is not as loud as before or in case you can not hear the alarm or the LED of the torch is not shinning or is not as bright
shinning as before, please replace the batteries. Open the batteries compartment by removing the two screws on the back of the Personal-Alarm
housing with a small srewdriver. Gently apart the back cover from the front of the housing of the Personal-Alarm and replace all three LR44
batteries. When putting in the new batteries, please note the correct polarity. After putting in the new batteries please refit the housings back cover
and tighten the screws.
For protecting the environment, in general please do not dispose of exhausted batteries with domestic refuse. Batteries must be disposed of in
accordance with the local regulations. Please ask your local authority for further details. Normally batteries can be disposed of at central disposal
centers. Center information may be found in your telephonebook. Normally batteries can also be returned to the point of sale.
4. Warranty:
SAFETY FIRST. is offering a two year warranty for this item. The guarantee period begins on the original date of the consumer purchase sales
date, which must be prove. There-fore please keep your receipt. During the warranty period SAFETY FIRST. guarantees this product against
defects that are due to faulty material, faulty construction or work-manship. Any necessary replacement parts and any repair work will be free of
charge. This guarantee does not include damage to the product resulting from accident or misuse.
SAFETY FIRST. does not assume responsibility for consequential damage and consequences from misuse of the item.
5. Information:
