MACINTOSH
:
When the CD icon appears on your desktop, double click on its icon to display its contents.
Locate the Keyspan USB Server Installer icon and double click to start the installation
process. Follow the instructions on screen.
WINDOWS
:
Windows will automatically open the Keyspan CD Browser window. Using the on-screen
menus, locate the Keyspan USB Server Installer selection and click it to start the
installation process. Follow the instructions on screen.
WINDOWS Tech Note:
During and/or after the software installation, the Windows
New Hardware Wizard
may ask you to install software several times. Select
'Install the software automatically'. You may also get an additional prompt regarding
logo testing, click 'Continue Anyway' to proceed. Please note that you may need to
repeat this process up to 3 times.

- Running the Keyspan USB Server application
Once the Keyspan installer completes, it will automatically launch the Keyspan USB Server
application. You will use this utility to configure the USB Server.
You will now see your USB Server listed in the
USB Devices
tab (see next image):
Tech Note Server Names and Serial Numbers:
Out of the box, your USB
Server will show up as 'Unnamed'. You can change your USB Server's name in
Admin
tab. You will also notice a serial number listed next to your USB Server name. This
serial number corresponds to the last five digits of your USB Server's MAC address
(printed on the bottom of your USB Server hardware).
Tech Note About Firmware Updates:
When you first launch the Keyspan USB
Server software, you may get a message stating that new there is new firmware
