USB Device Compatibility
Overview
The first release of the Keyspan USB Server, v1.0, supports USB printers, USB multi-function
printers, USB scanners and USB HID devices. While other USB devices may work, they are not
officially supported by this release. USB audio and video products (or Isochronous USB devices)
are not compatible with this release. USB hubs are not supported .
Tech Note about USB Hubs : Certain USB devices have USB hubs embedded
into them. For many devices you can physically see the USB ports (ie certain USB
keyboards) however there are other USB devices where the presence of USB hub is
not immediately obvious. For example, some printers with memory cards slots can
employ an embedded USB hub.
Tested USB Device List
The following is a list of USB devices that have been tested with the Keyspan USB Server during
development. T his list is intended to be used as reference guide and not as a compatibility list. We
are constantly testing products and adding them to this list. For the latest version of this list, please
