Config: Check Server Firmware/Firmware Update
This selection will allow you to check and update the firmware on
USB Server hardware. For details, please see the
Updating
Your Firmware
sub-section later in this section.
Config: Apply/Restore Server Config (WINDOWS)
Only found in the Windows version, these selections will apply
any changes made to the USB Server's settings or restore the
server to default settings. These functions are identical to
Apply
and
Restore
buttons found in the
Admin
tab.
Config: Refresh
The Refresh selection will refresh the USB Device or Admin tab
contents. This will force the USB Server software to obtain the
current status of the USB Server hardware.
Updating Your Firmware
The Keyspan USB Server's firmware can be updated at any time via the Keyspan USB Server
application.
To do this, select the Admin tab, select your USB Server, and then click the
Edit Config
button.
If your USB server requires new firmware, you will receive a pop-up window with instructions on
how to update the server's firmware.
To manually update your server's firmware, select the Admin tab, select your USB Server, and
then click the
Edit Config
button. Then choose
Check Server Firmware
from the
Config
menu (see next image). Follow the instructions on-screen to update the server's firmware.

Firmware Update
in the Mac software.
