96063E Sensor Amplifier Communication Manual Read this manual before use. Keep this manual in a safe place for future reference.
About This Manual This manual contains information about communicating data by connecting either of the network units listed below and sensor amplifiers. Compatible network units CC-Link compatible network unit, NU-CL1 DeviceNet compatible network unit, NU-DN1 For specific communication procedures, refer to the manual of each network unit. For the functions of sensor amplifiers, refer to the manual of each sensor amplifier.
1 FS-N Series Number of ID Numbers Occupied The table below summarizes how many ID numbers are occupied by each model of sensor amplifier. Model Number of ID numbers occupied FS-N10 FS-N12* FS-N14* 1 1 2 Connection example: ID number FS-N14* 3 FS-N12* 2 4 1 FS-N10 CH1 CH2 Network unit Data Assignments Each ID number is assigned an output, setting value, current value, and external input.
1 FS-N Series For the FS-N series, the data parameters that can be communicated via a network unit are specified as follows: Parameter Current Value Setting Value Current Value Property Sensor Error Sensor Warning Key Lock Product Code Head Code L-on/D-on (N.O./N.C.
1 FS-N Series Functions That Cannot Be Set in Duplicate There are functions that cannot be set (used) in duplicate. When such functions are set through communication, the function of lower priority is invalidated while remaining in the set state or is deactivated. The following table summarizes the functions that cannot be set in duplicated, and their operations.
1 FS-N Series Parameter List nn: ID number of sensor amplifier Example: If the ID number is 13, then: nn30h->1330h, and (nn x 10+3)d->133d R: Write; W: Read; C: Motion command InstID: Instance ID; AttrID: Attribute ID CC-Link Data Data no.
