• The following I-type clips can be used for connections.
Connecting power supply
Connect a 24 VDC power supply to the “IN” terminal.
When a 24 VDC power supply is connected to the “IN” terminal, the “OUT” terminal
can be used as a 24 VDC power supply output terminal. In this case, the “OUT”
terminal can be used as a power supply for other N-48 unit connected in the multi-
drop link configuration. (➮

)
• Do not connect a power supply other than 24 VDC or the unit may be
damaged.
• Connecting a power supply to the RS-485 terminal may damage the N-48.
• Do not connect different types of power supplies to the IN and OUT termi-
nals or the unit may not start normally due to the potential difference
between the power supplies.
