Tampering If the tracking module or the HFSM is tampered with or removed from the vehicle, the motorcycle cannot be started (the starter and ignition circuits may be disabled).The tracking module siren will sound if the security system is armed. The tracking module will continue to operate for a period of time while the module is removed from the motorcycle or the battery is disconnected. Activation The antitheft module is installed and ready for service from the factory.You must subscribe with a DENATRAN certified service provider for GPS monitoring and remote alarm services.
To deactivate service, simply terminate your subscription with the monitoring service provider. Reporting an Event If the motorcycle is stolen, immediately report it to the law enforcement authorities at the location where the theft occurred. Provide the vehicle identification number (VIN) and proof of ownership. Indicate that the motorcycle is equipped with an antitheft tracking module, and provide the name of the monitoring ser- vice provider. Contact your service provider and indicate any further details as needed. Change of Address or Ownership When moving to a new residence or when buying or selling a motorcycle equipped with an antitheft system, contact the department of transit to update the registration on the vehicle and contact the monitoring service provider to activate/deac- tivate monitoring services as needed.
