Installation Instructions

STEP 1
Determine your desired length and assemble accordingly with each extension.
STEP 2
Start with the handle and line up the button on the second extension with the hole on
the handle piece.
STEP 3
Press the button down to easily slide the second extension into the handlepiece.
STEP 4
Repeat that step for the third extension (that has the black plastic sleeve).
STEP 5
The third extension is the extension that is able to accept the smaller end piece with
the bolt on the end, attach the third extension to the smaller end piece. Now you have
a completed rod.
STEP 6
Slip the control rod adapter over the brass turn knob located on the white plastic box
on the inside curb wall of your skylight, secure by tightening the set screw on the
adapter.
STEP 7
Aim the round hex nut end of the control rod into the adapter on the skylight, then
rotate the control rod handles to open and close your vented skylight.
