IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• The microwaveoven should be servicedonly by
qualifiedservicepersonnel.Call an authorized
servicecompanyfor examination,repair,or
adjustment.
• See doorsurfacecleaninginstructionsinthe"Caring
for YourMicrowaveOven"section.
• Toreducetheriskoffire intheovencavity:
- Do not overcookfood.Carefullyattendthe
microwaveoven when paper,plastic,or other
combustiblematerialsareplaced insidethe oven
to facilitatecooking.
- Removewire twist-tiesfrom paperor plasticbags
beforeplacingbags in oven.
- If materialsinsidethe oven ignite,keepoven
doorclosed,turn oven off, anddisconnectthe
powercord,or shut off powerat the fuse orcircuit
breakerpanel.
- Do not use the cavityfor storagepurposes.Do not
leave paperproducts,cookingutensils,or food in
the cavitywhen not in use.
• This microwaveovenissuitablefor useaboveboth
gas and electriccookingequipment.
• This microwaveovenisintendedtobe usedabove
rangeswith maximumwidth of 36 inches(91cm).
• Cleanventilatinghoodsfrequently- grease should
not be allowedto accumulateon hoodor filter.
• Whenflamingfoods underthehood,turnthe fanon.
• Usecarewhen cleaningthe vent-hoodfilter.
Corrosiveoven cleanersmaydamagethe filter.
• Oversizedfoodsor oversizedmetalutensilsshould
not be insertedinthe microwaveoven as they may
createa fire or riskof electricshock.
• Do not cleanwith metalscouringpads.Piecescan
burn offthe pad andtouch electricalpartsinvolvinga
risk of electricshock.
• Donotstoreanythingdirectlyontopof the
microwaveovenwhen the microwaveoven is in
operation.
• Donotcoveror blockanyopeningson the
microwaveoven.
• Donotstorethis microwaveovenoutdoors.Donot
use the microwaveoven nearwater- for example,
neara kitchensink, in a wet basement,neara
swimmingpool, or similarlocation.
• Donotimmersecordor plug inwater.

• Donotmountovera sink.
• Donotcover racksor anyotherpartofthe ovenwith
metalfoil.Thiswill causeoverheatingof the oven.
• Liquids such as water, coffee, or tea are able to
be overheated beyondthe boiling point without
appearing to be boiling due to surface tension
of the liquid. Visible bubbling or boiling when the
container is removedfrom the microwave oven
is not always present. This could result in very
hot liquids suddenly boiling overwhen a spoon or
other utensil is inserted into the liquid. To reduce
the risk of injury to persons:
1) Do not overheat the liquid.
2) Stir the liquid both before and halfway through
heating it.
3) Do not use straight-sided containers with
narrow neoNs.
4)After heating, allow the container to stand in
the microwave oven for a short time before
removing the container.
5) Use extremecare when inserting a spoonor
other utensil intothe container.
