Troubleshooting
Most cooking problems often are caused by little things you can find and fix without tools of any kind. Check the
lists below and on the next page before calling for assistance or service. Ifyou still need help, see the Sears toll-
free numbers on the back cover.
MICROWAVE OVEN DOES NOT WORK
PROBLEM CAUSE
Nothing works. • The power supply cord is notplugged intoa grounded 3 prong outlet. (See the
electrical requirements" sectionon page 6 and the "Electricalconnection" section
on Page 8.)
• A household fuse has blownor a circuit breaker has tripped.
• The electriccompany has had a power failure.

PROBLEM CAUSE
Food is not cooked • The electricsupply to your home or wall outlets is lowor lowerthan normal. Your

The display shows a time • You have not allowed enough cooking time for the amount of food being
