Approximate Rice Cooking Times
(At room temperature 20°C and
water temperature 18°C)
HOW TO COOK BROWN RICE / NATURAL RICE
• Wash brown rice. For more delicious results with brown rice, soak the rice in
water for an hour or more before cooking.
• Brown rice can be cooked up to 4 cups.
We recommend 1,5 cups of water with 1 cup of brown rice.
• Fill the Inner Pot with water up to the appropriate level.
• Place the Inner Pot into the main unit.
• Then begin cooking by using the BROWN RICE buon on the device. The red
light indicator starts to ash for around 8 seconds. Then the cooking will start.
• Once the rice is cooked, the Cooker will automacally switch over to the
Keep WARM mode. The WARM indicator (yellow) will light up.
Please switch o the devices aer cooking the brown rice!

Plug the power cord into an outlet and turn on the device
• To do so, push down the switch WHITE RICE located on the front of the device unl the
indicator will ash Red. Please make sure that the lid is closed properly.
• Aer ashing 8 seconds, the indicator (red) will light up and your cooker will start cooking.
• Once the rice cooking is nished, the device will automacally go to the temperature
keeping mode WARM.
• The WARM indicator (yellow) will light up. To switch o the cooker, please press the buon
OFF on the device.
• Serve the cooked rice. Use the supplied rice spoon to avoid scratching the inner pot.
Don‘t use any sharp or pointy objects to take the rice out of the pot.
• Do not keep rice warm for more than 12 hours as rice may develop an odor, turn yellow,
or dry out.
• Do not unplug the power cord in WARM HALTEN
(KEEP WARM)
mode.
• Risoo cannot be kept warm. When Risoo is cooked, the WARM HALTEN (KEEP WARM)
lamp will ash. Do not keep Risoo warm, as it tends to become gluey.
• Do not use WARM HALTEN
(KEEP WARM)
for mixed rice, brown rice, sweet rice or sprouted
brown rice as they may begin to deteriorate or develop an odor.
• Slight scorching may form on the boom of the Inner Pot.
• Do not reheat cold rice as this may cause the rice to develop an odor.
