Store measurements on a USB flash drive
If there is measurement data in the buffer, you can copy it from the Model 2461 to a USB flash drive.
The information is saved in the .csv file format.
To store measurement data:
1. Insert a flash drive into the front-panel USB port.
2. Press the MENU key.
3. In the Measure column, select Reading Buffers.
4. Select the buffer that you want to save.
5. Select Save to USB.
6. Enter a name for the new file.
7. Select the OK button on the displayed keyboard.
8. Select Yes to confirm saving the file.
9. Select OK to close the dialog box.
Saving screen captures to a USB flash drive
You can save the content of the front-panel display to a graphic file. The instrument saves these
graphic files, also known as screen captures, to the USB flash drive in the .png file format.
To save the screen capture:
1. Insert a USB flash drive in the USB port on the front panel of the instrument.
2. Navigate to the screen you want to capture.
3. Press the HOME and ENTER keys. The instrument displays "Saving screen capture."
4. Release the keys.
