n IT IS IMPORTANT YOU READ THE SECTIONS ON 'KNOW YOUR BLADES' AND 'THE BLADE CARTIRIDGES'
BEFORE PROGRESSING TO THIS SECTION.
To cut board to size use the vertical cutter fitted with a TECH D or trapezium shaped blade. Remove the blade
cartridge and adjust the blade depth scr
ew so the tip of the blade JUST protrudes the board being cut. It is not
necessary to use a slip mat when vertical cutting.
Fit the Measuring Arm and ensure it is positioned correctly. Remove the Matguide if necessary.
Set the Measuring Arm Limit Stop to the dimension required.
1 Place the matboard under the Cutterbar and position it so the bottom right corner is against the Stop.
Lower the Cutterbar. Slide the Cutter Head away from you past the top edge of the matboard.
2 Ensure the vertical lock is off, (by sliding it to the right) depress the blade holder and pull the Cutter Head towards you.
Do not press on the long black handle.
n The Vertical Blade Holder can be locked in either the cutting position or the rest position. Slide the black plastic pin to
the left to lock, right to unlock.
