2
/
3
cup grated dry jack cheese
1 tablespoon gluten
2
1
/
4
teaspoons salt
1 tablespoon SAF yeast
or 1 tablespoon plus
1
/
2
teaspoon bread machine yeast
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Place the garlic in a small baking dish and bake until soft when touched with your
finger, 40 to 45 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool to room temperature.
Cut the head of roasted garlic in half horizontally. Place all the ingredients in the pan
according to the order in the manufacturer’s instructions, squeezing out the cloves
of garlic and dropping them into the bread pan along with the water. Set crust on
medium and program for the Basic or French Bread cycle; press Start. (This
recipe is not suitable for use with the Delay Timer.)
When the baking cycle ends, immediately remove the bread from the pan and place it
on a rack. Let cool to room temperature before slicing.
