CHERRY—WHEAT BERRY BREAD
This wonderful bread is adapted from a recipe developed by my friend, food consul-
tant Judith Dunbar Hines. When she worked for L’Esprit Dried Foods she created this
recipe to use the company’s wonderful dried cherries, which were new on the retail
market at the time. This is a slightly sweet loaf that makes good turkey sandwiches the
day after Thanksgiving.
