Chapter 2: Kaye ValProbe RT Hardware
Kaye ValProbe RT User Manual 9
Bendable Temperature RT Loggers
Bendable Loggers are available in two versions, single and dual. They
feature a temperature range of -85 °C to 140°C. If used with an Insulating
Canister the range can be extended to 360°C. Sensors can be provided in
12”, 18”, 24”, 36” and 48”. The sensor tip diameter is 2.4mm, 0,98”.
To prevent breaking and/or stress on the inner conductors of the bendable
Temperature Logger probe, the following guidelines should be followed:
• Do not bend past the minimum bending radius is 2x the diameter of the probe.
To ensure that the limit is not exceeded, Kaye recommends bending the probe
around a cylinder with a diameter of the logger diameter.
• Avoid repeated bending of the probe at the same point.
• The probe should not be bent within 1 inch of the Logger body or 1 inch from
where the tip is welded to the probe.
