The Katadyn Drip meets industry standards for reduction of bacteria (99.9999% Klebsiella terrigena) and protozoan cysts (99.9% Giardia and Cryptosporidium). This free-standing gravity filter with a 10 litre water container is ideal for large quantities of water.
Product Set-up The Drip requires minimal set up. For best results, try out the Drip before first field use to familiarize yourself with its operation. 2. Install Katadyn filter elements and, rubber gaskets on the unfiltered water side and wing nuts on the clean water side. Wing nuts should be threaded by hand, do not over tighten. 3. Katadyn Drip Gravidyn Element Replacement The sticker provided can be used to remind you when the filters have to be replaced. Just write on the sticker the month when the next replacement is due. If used continually for 6 months, the carbon core of the Gravidyn elements may become less effective at absorbing chemicals and taste. Katadyn suggests replacing the elements after 6 months of continuous use.
Product Registration Limited Warranty Your Katadyn Drip filter is warranted for two (2) year from the date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship. Should your Katadyn Drip prove defective within this period, return it to the Katadyn retailer from whom it was purchased. If you do not receive a satisfactory resolution, contact Katadyn Consumer Relations at +41 44 839 21 11 for assistance. Katadyn, at its discretion, will replace or repair the damaged item.
