5.2. Creating installation packages
To create an installation package:
1. Connect to the administration server (see section 2.1 on page 10).
2. In the console tree, choose the Remote install node, open the
shortcut menu and click the New / Package item (this command can
also be accessed from the Action menu) to start a wizard. Follow the
wizard’s instructions.
3. You will be offered to specify the name of the installation package and
specify application to be installed during the next step (see Figure 42).
When creating an installation package to install a Kaspersky Lab's
application, select the Create an installation package for Kasper-
sky Lab's application option and using the Browse... button, select
file containing the description of the application (file has extension
.kpd and is included in the installation package for all Kaspersky Lab's
