Events, reports and notifications 163
In order to customize a query:
1. Select the query you need in the console tree or in the results panel
and use the Properties command from the shortcut menu or the
analogous item in the Action menu.
2. This will open the query configuration window (see Figure 124), that
contains tabs: General, Events, Computers and Time.
On the General tab you can change the query name.
Using the Events tab (see Figure 124) define the characteristics of
events and task execution results that must be included into the
query::
Specify in the Application group of fields:
o name of the application about the operation of which you
wish to inquire;
o application version number;
o name of the task the results of which you need to display.
Define the characteristics of the events in the Events types
group of fields:
5. Select the level of the event importance from the drop-
down list.
There are types of events defined for each applica-
tion that can occur during the operation of such ap-
plication. Each event has a characteristic that reflects
its level of importance. The events of the same type
can be of different level of importance depending on
the situation in which such event occurred.
6. In order to ensure that the query includes only events of a
certain type, check the Events box and select the type re-
quired from the drop-down list. If the event type is not
specified all types of events will be displayed.
7. In order to ensure that the query includes results of tasks
execution, check the Tasks execution results and select
the task status that you want to view.
8. Check the Only last results of the task execution in or-
der to display information about the results of the last task
run only.
