for a short period exceeds the threshold, the event is classified as a Virus
outbreak. This parameter allows the administrator to prepare and
respond to a virus outbreak.

The Virus outbreaks tab
Check the Enable generation of virus outbreak events checkbox to
enable detection of virus activities within your logical network. In the Virus
outbreak event generation criteria group, set the following parameters
that define the virus activity threshold:
• In the upper field, enter the total number of viruses to be de-
tected on all clients on the logical network.
• In the lower field, specify the interval (minutes) within which the
above number of viruses should be detected.
The Security tab (see Figure 4) is used to configure the right to access
the logical Administration Server logical network (see section 2.2 on page
13).
