UpdateServerUrl address fails the application will use an alternative
address from the list of update servers.
PostUpdateCmd – defines the command that must be executed after
update is complete. The default value restarts the application.
RegionSettings – defines the customer region used to update the anti-virus
databases from the nearest Kaspersky Lab's update server.
ConnectTimeout – interval (in seconds) within which the application will
attempt to connect to the update source.
ProxyAddress – IP-address of a proxy server if one is required for Internet
connection. By default, the value is not set.
UseProxy=yes|no – use a proxy-server to connect to one of Kaspersky
Lab’s update servers. If the parameter is no, the proxy server will not be
used. If the parameter is
yes, the proxy server address defined by the
ProxyAddress parameter will be used.
PassiveFtp=yes|no – whether to use passive FTP mode when downloading
updates via FTP. To enable the mode, set the parameter to yes.
The [updater.report] section contains update report parameters.
Append=yes|no – determines whether to create a new log every time the
keepup2date component starts, deleting all previous logs. To enable the
mode in which messages are added to the existing report file, set the
parameter to yes.
ReportFileName=/var/log/kav/5.6/kavmilter/keepup2date.log – name of
the keepup2date report file.
ReportLevel=0|1|2|3|4|9 – the level of details in update report (0 – Fatal,
1 – Error, 2 – Warning, 3 – Info, 4 – Activity, 9 – Debug). The default
value is: 3.
A.2. Default group configuration file
default.conf
This appendix provides detailed explanation of every section of the default.conf
configuration file which defines the Default group of settings used to process
messages.
The [group.definition] section contains parameters defining group name,
senders / recipients lists, and group priority.
GroupName – the name of the group.
Senders – masks of email sender addresses. Enter masks as
