A.3.5.3. Configuring Qmail when using
kas-qmail
When integrating kas-qmail in the Qmail system:
• the original qmail-queue file will be saved under a different name:
mv /var/qmail/bin/qmail-queue /var/qmail/bin/qmail-
queue.kas
• kas-qmail will be installed instead of qmail-queue:
cp /usr/local/ap-mailfilter/bin/kas-qmail
/var/qmail/bin/qmail-queue
chown qmailq $destdir/bin/qmail-queue
chgrp qmail $destdir/bin/qmail-queue
chmod 04755 $destdir/bin/qmail-queue
• configuration file will be installed:
cp /usr/local/ap-mailfilter/etc/kas-qmail.conf
/var/qmail/control/kas-qmail
chmod 644 /var/qmail/control/kas-qmail

A.3.6.1.
kas-cgpro
operation
The kas-cgpro program is designed for the integration of Kaspersky Anti-Spam
with the Communigate Pro mail system.
The kas-cgpro program works in conjunction with Communigate Pro as
described below:
• Communigate Pro transfers all received mail to kas-cgpro;
• kas-cgpro processes, modifies and places messages into the Submitted
folder; value DISCARD will be returned to Communigate Pro;
• PIPE driver transfers messages from the Submitted folder to
Communigate Pro that, in turn, transfers them to kas-cgpro;
• kas-cgpro does not process messages that have already been
processed by the filtering process: value OK will be returned to
Communigate Pro;
