EN DANGER! intended use of this helmet involves activities that are extremely dangerous. EN WARNING: This helmet cannot always protect the user rom injury. Specically, one should keep in mind that no helmet can protect the head rom the shock generated by violent impact. Following violent impact, even i no damage is visible, the helmet should be replaced, in that its capacity to absorb urther impact could be impaired. WARNING: Certain chemical products, especially solvents, can damage your helmet. Protect your helmet rom exposure to chemicals.
EN straps should be positioned so as not to cover the ears, the buckle must be located away rom the jawbone and the straps and buckle together must be adjusted in such a way as to be both comortable and close tting. With the chin strap astened and correctly adjusted, always check that the helmet does not squeeze the head nor moves reely back and orth (see Fig. 1).
EN machine (max. 30°C -85° F). Never use chemical cleaning products or solvents. STORAGE: When not in use, the helmet should be stored away rom direct sunlight and sources o heat, and we recommend putting it back in the original package. MODIFICATIONS AND REPAIRS: Do not apply adhesives, solvents, stickers, or paint that does not comply with the manuacturer’s specications. Do not modiy the helmet in any way unless the modications are specically authorized by KASK.
EN means o identication (serial or individual number), year o manuacture, date o purchase, date o rst use, name o user, all other pertinent inormation or example maintenance and frequency of use, the history of periodic inspections (date, comments and noted problems, name and signature o the competent person who perormed the inspection).
EN responsible person. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is to be used only on or with energy absorbing systems (tor example dynamic ropes, energy absorbers etc.). Check that this product is compatible with the other components o you equipment, see the instructions specic to the products. To prolong the lie o this product, take care when transporting and using it. Avoid impacts, or contact with abrasive suraces or sharp edges.
