MEMORY/CLK-ADJ In standby mode: Enter clock setting mode.
In radio mode: To preset radio stations.
MODE To review and set the alarm on/off time.
RDS SEARCH In radio mode: Press to select the RDS program
type for searching.
Connection
1. Connect the power cord to a suitable wall outlet. Make sure that the power output of the wall
outlet matches the required power supply as indicated on the unit.
2. When you rst plug the unit into the mains, the unit will go into standby mode.
3. Connect the speaker wires to the speaker terminal located on the back of the unit.
4. Turn on the unit by pressing the POWER button.
Basic Functions
Clock Setting
The clock can only be set while the unit is in standby mode.
1. While the unit is in standby mode, press the MEM/CLK-ADJ button. The hour is blinking. Set the
current hour by pressing the or button. Press the MEM/CLK-ADJ button again to conrm
your setting. The minutes are blinking now.
2. Set the current minutes by pressing the or button. Press the MEM/CLK-ADJ button again
to conrm your setting.
3. To select between 12h and 24h display, press and hold the CD STOP button.
Note:
• The set time will be reset if the unit is disconnected from the power supply.
Timer Setting (via Remote Control)
This function enables you to set a timer to wake up by CD or radio.
With the unit in standby mode press the MODE button on the remote control repeatedly to show the
following information in the display:
1. Current time
2. On Time Setting Press the MEM/CLK-ADJ button followed by the SKIP+/- buttons to set the
hour of the on time. Press the MEM/CLK-ADJ button again, followed by the
SKIP+/- buttons to set the minutes of the on time. Press the MEM/CLK-ADJ
button to conrm your setting.
3. Off Time Setting Press the MEM/CLK-ADJ button followed by the SKIP+/- buttons to set the
hour of the off time. Press the MEM/CLK-ADJ button again, followed by the
SKIP+/- buttons to set the minutes of the off time. Press the MEM/CLK-ADJ
button to conrm your setting.
4. Mode Press the MODE button to enter the wake up mode. Press the MEM/
CLK-ADJ button followed by the SKIP+/- buttons to set the mode (CD or
TUNER). Press the MEM/CLK-ADJ button to complete your settings.
Note:
• The programming will automatically be cancelled if no button is pressed within about 10 seconds.
Activating/Deactivating the Timer
1. Press the TIMER button once. The timer symbol
